SAILING

A Life Shaped by the Water

Over 150,000 miles and nearly 400 races, I have learned that winning is never an accident. It is built in the planning, the preparation, and the relentless attention to details most people overlook. My teams and I have won some of the most demanding offshore races in Northern Europe — Round Skagen, Round Bornholm, Round Funen, Kieler Woche, and Silverrudder 2018 — with top-three finishes in over 50 races and top-quarter results in more than 150.

But the real prize was never the trophy at the finish line. It was everything the journey taught me about focus, resilience, and the courage to keep improving long after others have stopped. Those lessons never stayed on the water. They shaped the way I work, the way I think, and the way I have approached every challenge in my professional life.
